TEDxYouth@AEL is a licensed, independently organised TED event presented by Asociacion Escuelas Lincoln. The event is focused on providing children with a global platform for their "ideas worth spreading".
Students, ranging from Elementary School through High School, have developed inspiring talks based on the theme Free Your Mind - Inspire Change, Inspire Diversity, Inspire Breakthrough.
The show will host two guest speakers as well as an Irish dancing act by two of Lincoln's own Elementary students. As well as this, there will be a captivating breakout station session where guests can meet and interact with the presenters.

Suria and Cahaya Cramer (age 10) have been Irish dancing for 6 years. They have travelled the world and competed in a number of international dance competitions and have recently been awarded first and second place in Irish Dancing in Latin America.

What she has witnessed in each place that she's lived is that very few people know what cultural appropriation is, nor do they understand the effects their ignorance has on the cultures they have appropriated.

Born in South Korea, Seungwoo has lived in South Korea, India and currently Argentina. He has been exposed to many different languages ever since he was born. Seungwoo moved to India when he was few months old, and Hindu became his first language. He also speaks English and Korean as well. After he moved to Korea, Seungwoo strengthened his Korean and learned a bit of Chinese. Now, living in Argentina, he acquired a completely new language: Spanish!
