In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ankita Sinha

Ankita Sinha has one of the most stylish adventure blogs, called "Anki On The Move", where she manages to beautifully convey what she feels about certain places. She has, in the past, conducted PanIndian traveler meet ups across cities to bring like-minded people together. She has also won a couple of awards for her writings and is known as one of the best adventure bloggers. For those of you in search of an adrenaline rush, this blog should be a reference, as Ankita Sinha will show you how to indulge in the most extreme adventure sports, including mountaineering, cliff jumping, zip lining and more.

Bhatu Sawant

Bhatu Sawant is the CEO of Samarth Bharat Vyaspeeth (SBV) an NGO which is the brain behind Signal Shala, a school dedicated to children who beg on the streets near the Teen Haat signal flyover in Thane, Maharashtra. Sawant's organization had first tried to take the children to school. They didn't succeed, the few who went also dropped out. Meanwhile, the Thane Municipal Corporation was also trying to come up with a plan to help these kids get a shot at a better life. At the same time, SBV carried on multiple surveys and figured out that there are 22 children who live there permanently with their families and beg during the day.

Moumita Dutta

Moumita Dutta is one of the top ISRO scientists; part of a team that worked on India’s acclaimed Mars Orbiter Mission. Today, she is heading a team to make indigenous progress in optical sciences as a part of ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Rashmi Tiwari

Rashmi Tiwari is the Founder and Director of Aahan Tribal Foundation of India,[1] working to dismantle the machinery of trafficking by making at risk tribal girls and women financially independent, self reliant and aware about their rights and privileges by providing life skills, entrepreneurial skills, local employment opportunities, mentoring and creating engagements using arts, performing arts and sports.[2][3] She is Fellow of Vital Voices (USA), Fellow of SIMP and a Certified Leadership Coach from NeuroLeadership Institute. She has been selected as one of the emerging women business leaders from India under the Fortune/US State Department Leadership Mentorship Program. She was mentored by Ms. Anne Mulcahy, Chairperson & CEO, Xerox Corporation and also featured in Forbes magazine.

Rupani Barla

A small tribal girl who was saved by Dr. Rashmi Tiwari, Founder and Director of Aahan Tribal Foundation of India, working to dismantle the machinery of trafficking by making at risk tribal girls and women financially independent, self reliant and aware about their rights and privileges by providing life skills, entrepreneurial skills, local employment opportunities, mentoring and creating engagements using arts, performing arts and sports.

Sachin Garg

Sachin Garg is an Indian bestselling novelist, a first generation entrepreneur, publisher and speaker, best known for his semi-autobiographical chronicles. He has authored bestsellers like Never Let Me Go, It's First Love, Just Like The Last One, I'm Not Twenty Four, I Have Been Nineteen For Five Years, Come on, inner peace, I don't have all day. Sandeep Desai

Sensei Sandeep Desai is a master of T'ai chi, Ashtanga Yoga and Martial Arts. He holds a fifth degree black belt in Okinawan Shorin-Ryu Karate, acquired in Okinawa, Japan. He has trained arduously and extensively in Chenjiagou village, the birthplace of T'ai chi in China. He has received several medals and successfully completed.

Vasant Shinde

Prof. Vasant Shinde, Internationally renowned Archaeologist, is presently the Vice-Chancellor of the Deccan College, Post-Graduate and Research Institute, Deemed University, Pune. Prof. Shinde has been a pioneer in archaeological research since the last 35 years, specialising in the Protohistory of South Asia as well as Field Archaeology. He has completed 16 major research projects, in the process of which he has collaborated with scholars and institutes from around the world, from Institutes such as the Universities of Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in the United States of America to Cambridge and Oxford Universities in the United Kingdom, to the International Research Center for Japanese Studies and Research Institute for Humanities and Nature (both in Kyoto, Japan), Seoul National University College of Medicine, South Korea, and so on. Presently, he has been directing a very prestigious research project at the largest Harappan site of Rakhigarhi in Haryana.
