Atnre Alleyne is the founding Executive Director of the Delaware Campaign for Achievement Now (CAN), an education advocacy organization. Prior to launching CAN, Atnre was a Director at the Delaware Department of Education where he led policy and research efforts to pertaining to teacher and leader effectiveness. Atnre is the founder of TeenSHARP, an organization that prepares students of color in Delaware, Philadelphia, and New Jersey for top colleges. He holds B.A. (economics) and M.P.A. degrees from Rutgers University-Camden and an M.A. in political science from the University of Delaware. Dune Thorne is a partner, portfolio manager and head of the Boston office at Brown Advisory, where she helps families and nonprofits develop financial and investment plans to align with their long-term goals. She was also honored as one of the Top 50 Women in Wealth by AdvisorOne in 2011 and was a recipient of Boston Business Journal's Emerging Leader Award in 2011. Dune is the founder and chair of the board of Invest in Girls; a trustee and investment committee member for Milton Academy and the deCordova Sculpture Park & Museum; serves on the investment committee for Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts and The Lincoln Nursery School; and is a member of Golden Seeds LP Advisory Committee, Tiger 21 and Women Moving Millions. Dune earned her BA at Dartmouth and MBA from Harvard Business School.
