TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. The TEDx program is a local, self-organized event that brings people together to share a TED experience, with the "x" meaning independently organized TED event. A TEDxYouth conference has youth speakers and in the case of TEDxYouth@Clarkston, is run by youth.
