Cajon Valley Union School District will host TEDxKids@ElCajon on June 3, 2017, from 9am to 4pm at Greenfield Middle School. Themed “PowerUp,” this year’s event will showcase student speakers from various backgrounds exploring current and relevant topics affecting El Cajon’s young people and their power to change the World. Talks will range from working through ADHD, Ending Sexual Harassment, Saving Sea Turtles, and Life as a Hijabi. Small group activities and workshops will be held in the LiveStream Lounge. Performances and exhibitions will share in the fair like park outside. The event is open to the public and tickets are available at https://tedxkidselcajon.eventbrite.com.
