Ambre Lambert

Ambre (12th grade), whose roots are from Canada and France, moved from Switzerland to Prague less than three years ago. In addition to her passion for philosophy and natural science, Ambre has become one of the most active members of the robotics club at the International School of Prague. The ISP student team she was part of achieved outstanding results in the European regional competition and advanced to the world championships in the US in the spring of 2016.

Bethany Staneland

Originally from Ontario, Canada, Bethany began farming when she moved from the northern Canadian territory of Yukon to the Czech Republic with her husband, Vasek Travnicek, in 2012. Bethany and Vasek appeared in a national documentary television series, shot live on location for two years in the Czech mountains. During that time, they learned the foundation skills of farming first-hand. With a Masters in Leadership and over 12 years’ experience facilitating youth based programs, and with personal interests in farming, heritage crafts and sustainable living, running an outdoor experiential learning centre is now Bethany’s way of life. She and her husband are raising their two children, and educating students of all ages, on their family farm south of Prague. (Learn more at www.terrafarma.cz)
