Theme: TEDxJahezWomen

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Beshr Shiekh Ekriem

Bisher is deaf, and she got her high school diploma after four years of being placed educationally as a first grader. She is now a volunteer in Eemaa Society for the Deaf, where she teaches deaf children Arabic and Chemistry. بشر صماء حصلت على الشهادة الثانوية بفرعها العلمي بعد أربع سنوات من تقييم مستواها التعليمي كطالبة صف أول ابتدائي، هي متطوعة الآن في جمعية إيماء لخدمة الصم حيث تُعلّم الأطفال اللغة العربية والكيمياء.

Dana has the habit to excel in what she finds passion in, and those fields are many. At a young age, she has discovered her abilities and qualified herself to be a medical student, triathlete, coach, poet, programmer and a volunteer. She aims to make a positive change in the spot she stands in, rounding to the society where she lives and extending to the world that matters! دانا تسعى إلى التميز في المجالات التي لديها شغف فيها، وهذه المجالات عديدة. منذ الصغر، اكتشفت إمكانياتها وطوّرت نفسها لتصبح طالبة طب بشري، لاعبة ترياثلون، مدرّبة، شاعرة، مبرمِجة، ومتطوعة. دانا تهدف إلى صنع تغيير إيجابي في موقعها رادّةً المعروف إلى المجتمع الذي تعيش فيه ومنه إلى العالم!
