Theme: The Next Step

The TEDxYouth program was created to enable young people to learn new skills, gain confidence, and share their ideas. At TEDxYouth@BIS, we believe the best way to do this is to give students the freedom - and responsibility - of managing the event from start to finish.

Join us April 1, 2017 for original talks, music, and poetry by students at Bonn International School.

Jake Joo

Jake, 14, hails originally from South Korea, He regularly relocates due to his father’s work, and this is his first year at Bonn International School.

Kushagra Srivastava

Kushagra Srivastava is 13 years old and comes from India. He is grateful for the opportunity to join TEDxYouth and practice speaking in front of big crowds.

Laura Gonzalez Duran

Laura Gonzalez comes from Madrid, Spain. She moved to Bonn in 2013. A year later, she spoke at TEDxYouth@BIS for the first time. This year, she helped new speakers develop their talks and work on public speaking skills.

Matilde Roquette

At eleven years-old, this is Matilde’s first time speaking on the TED platform. Matilde is a sixth grader at Bonn International School in Bonn, Germany.

Oliver Martino

Oliver is a seventh grader at Bonn International School in Germany. As a digital native, he wonders whether communication today is more or less efficient than it was before modern technology.

Ryan Krysinski

Ryan Krysinski, 14, moved to Bonn in 2016 after spending time across the USA as well as Hong Kong.

Supratim Kundu

Supratim, 13, comes to Germany from India. He has now been studying at Bonn International School for two years.

Ty Krysinski

Ty, from Modesto, California, is 12 years old. He has lived all across the globe, in 3 continents.

Yerin Oh

Yerin is an 11 year old from South Korea
