Theme: Mosaic

We’d like to promote the idea of collectivism and the benefits that comes with it; think of a mosaic or a complex machine, every single dot, color or component plays a very niched role in its ecosystem and yet, everything they do are essential to the cohesive pattern of a mosaic or, in a machine, the smooth running of the little processes that makes up proper functioning of the whole. We figured that the theme, “Mosaic”, fits best to our needs as it conveniently encompasses the ideas and culture that we want to showcase. On top of that, we would like to touch on social issues that would arise among the many processes in society; it is important to understand the roots ….

Adrian Younge

Music Producer

Adrian Younge is the next generation of soul music. A self-taught musician and recording engineer who as dedicated his life to the study of classic soul music, Younge finds himself at the center of a new soul renaissance with a vision for pushing the boundaries of the music itself.

Athena Garcia-Gunn

As a former foster youth herself, Athena has focused primarily on improving the child welfare system on a local, state and federal level. Locally, Athena has worked with foster youth one-on-one to mentor youth on how to become their own advocates, how to understand their rights and the system that affects them.

Hector Preciado

Hector Javier Preciado Ruiz was born in San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco Mexico and raised in Boyle Heights, East Los Angeles. Hector is an Manager in Linkedin's Sales Development division leading a young and dynamic team of sales developers who qualify business opportunities for Linkedin.

Humna Khan

Humna Khan has been working for the space industry for over a decade, serving payload development, rocket engineering and laugh activities. She has worked on NASA's Mars Rovers and the Mars Science Laboratory, coordinated launching of cargo with the US Air Force and has led teams at Space X in developing the Falcon 9 and Heavy rockets along with Dragon spacecrafts.

Roslynn Cobarrubias

a televsion host and producer for MyxTV, a cable music network available in over 15 million homes via DirecTV, Time Warner Cable &Sony Roku. She is also the Co-Founder/Chief marketing Officer of mydiveo, the largest network of video portfolios across the world.

Semaj Clark

Clark grew up in the midst of violence, chaos and dysfunction in South Central Los Angeles. He was placed in various foster homes where he was emotionally and physically abused. With no guidance at home, he turned to life on the streets. While attending a Juvenile Justice conference on community safety in Savannah, GA, a teenager attempted to rob Semaj and then shot him in the back, leaving Semaj paralyzed from the waist down.
