Locally, Athena has worked with foster youth one-on-one to mentor youth on how to become their own advocates, how to understand their rights and the system that affects them.

Humna Khan
Humna Khan has been working for the space industry for over a decade, serving payload development, rocket engineering and laugh activities. She has worked on NASA's Mars Rovers and the Mars Science Laboratory, coordinated launching of cargo with the US Air Force and has led teams at Space X in developing the Falcon 9 and Heavy rockets along with Dragon spacecrafts.

Semaj Clark
Clark grew up in the midst of violence, chaos and dysfunction in South Central Los Angeles. He was placed in various foster homes where he was emotionally and physically abused. With no guidance at home, he turned to life on the streets. While attending a Juvenile Justice conference on community safety in Savannah, GA, a teenager attempted to rob Semaj and then shot him in the back, leaving Semaj paralyzed from the waist down.
