Theme: Tunisia, a brave new world

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ilyes, also known as Gahaf, is a young man with quite the interesting philosophy in life. He believes that money does not provide freedom, on the contrary, it makes us lose sight of the things really important in life. As he says: "Money is an object made by men. Food is wealth, water is wealth, nature is wealth, animals is wealth, fresh air we are breathing is wealth, people are wealth, young people, the energy they have and the passion they have is wealth, the crafts we have and we used to have are wealth, but the money never was a wealth."
