Operation INSPIRE

TEDxMyersParkHighSchool is an initiative of Myers Park High School DECA. Through our TEDx event, we want to bring together students, faculty, and community members to share innovative and entrepreneurial ideas worth sharing. We hope that our TEDx stage will allow many to share their great ideas to the world.

Talk Title: Bio: Author of eights books and countless articles, Chris has learned that experience is one of the best teachers. Chris started his career in finance and human resources and has helped build several startup technology companies like early dotcoms MTS (1996) and carrershop.com (1998). As AvidXchange's first employee in 2000, Chris has played roles in support, training, testing, development, project management, consulting, sales, marketing, and management. Chris is a teacher at Avid’s internal university as well as being an Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurship in the Department of Computer Science at UNC Charlotte. Chris also serves on the board to two Charlotte NC based startups, RaidenTechnologies and 2ULaundry. Chris lives in Clover, SC where a wife, four kids and business keeps him very busy.
