TEDxSwanseaWomen will include live presentations from four speakers including one of BBC’s 100 most inspirational women and full TEDWomen session live (almost) from San Fransisco's TED Women. This is an opportunity to be one of the first in the world to see the TED Women session!
With the theme of ‘shining a light on women,’ we hope that TEDxSwanseaWomen will be an event where those interested in solving the problem of gender inequality can find inspiration and a positive environment to share their experiences."

Alice Gray is a blogger, who has run her blog since 2013, hoping to raise awareness for the issues of facing women in STEM. Since starting her blog, Alice has been involved with shaping public STEM policy in Wales, has given a lecture to the scientists and engineers at the European Space Agency in Paris and was named on the BBC's list of 100 inspirational women for 2015.Emma Lloyd

At this age she was doing her first year in university studying Aerospace Engineering. From the first time she saw number 11 Wind Street in Swansea, she fell in love with the building and had a clear vision of what she would like to see it become. Besides not having experience in the restaurant industry, from the day of her last exam she started her market research and educated herself in hospitality. Despite things not going to plan, Tino carried on and opened her doors to the public on November 28th, 2013. What may have seemed impossible is now a living reality.
