In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Daisy Robinton

Lucy McRae

Lucy is a science fiction artist, TED Fellow and inventor of the Swallowable Perfume. Recognised as an early identifier of emerging technologies that drive product innovation, she led Philips Electronics far future research lab, developing stretchable electronics, an electronic tattoo and a range of emotional sensing dresses.

Robbie Stamp

Robbie Stamp is Chairman of Bioss International, a consultancy interested in decision making and human judgement particularly in relation to machine learning and AI.

Shamil Chandaria

Dr Shamil Chandaria is a research fellow at the Institute of Philosophy in the School of Advanced Study at London University. He is also a strategic advisor at Google DeepMind, and a visiting academic at the Future of Humanity Institute at the University of Oxford. His research interests range from the philosophy of human well-being, to computational neuroscience, systems biology and artificial intelligence.
