March 2, 2011
9:30am - 7:45pm MST
(UTC -7hrs)

The event was held in a stone and wood building circa 1900, the original worship space of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, the congregation warmly welcomed us for the 11 hours we were there. Well over half the 97 people stayed for the entire event, refreshed by coffee and muffins from nearby GIANT Coffee.

Many of us reported to each other that the event changed our lives - for most of us this was the first time we encountered a full day of the TED conference experience.

We were joined by future TEDx organizers in Monterey, Mexico who came to see what TED was all about - they asked to come help with out next TEDx!

This was a live simulcast of TED 2011 conference talks given on March 2, from 9:30am-7:45pm Arizona time.

TEDxLive is an extension of the TEDx program, launched by TED in 2010. TEDxLive events are TEDx events built around the live webcast of TED Conferences. TEDxLive events enable TED enthusiasts all over the world to experience live sessions of the TED Conf
