Theme: Silent Noise

Everybody has a soft yet silent melody constantly playing within them. Few are able to hear it in the very beginning, while others might hear it a little later. That is the silent noise. It is never too late to do things which might have been done a long time ago.
This theme persuades one to dream big, discover and innovate. World’s most renowned entrepreneurs, artists, inventors, teachers- the list is endless, wouldn't have been successful if they had given up way too easily. It is that noise which made them explore new ideas, without any fear of criticism or failure. Advancements in the field of technology, entertainment or design is possible only if people jeopardize to do something which distinguishes them from the ordinary; and this prosperity will hence, make us eligible enough to find the solutions to the complications of our time and in turn will help us build a rational society where we lead a better life in peace,and with improved health conditions.

Just keep your mind calm and listen to that noise. Dare to take a step forward and let the world hear it too, and dance to your beats.

Keeping in accordance with the organization guidelines of the event, our theme 'Silent Noise', is as abstract and diverse as it gets. There are multitudes of ways in which it can be interpreted and will thus, be open to the speakers', and attendees' varying perspectives of it.

Dancer and Social Activist

Mrs. Alokananda Roy, the pioneer of ‘Dance Therapy’ is a reputed dancer, a rapturous river of rhythm who has not only left an indelible mark on the canvas of dance but even on the social works that she has so uniquely taken care of. Her work as a social initiator through dance and music, has decorated her with numerous awards and honours, including Rajya Sangeet Academy Award(2014), Tumi Ananya(2014), Bharat Nirman(2008), Sharbabharatiya Sangeet –O- Sanskriti Parisad(2014), Michael Modhusudan Award, Bongo BIbhushan(2014). However, she accepts all the honours bestowed on her with humility and maintains that any award given with respect and love, is of equal importance to her.

Arunabha Bhattacharyya

Banker, Writer, and Motivational Speaker

Arunabha Bhattacharyya is a banker by profession, writer by passion and a trainer by choice, he is today considered one of the youngest motivational speakers in the nation having trained over 40000+ candidates across the nation on thought-process and inspiration change under his campaign popularly known as #MotivateIndia movement. He has been awarded the prestigious Dr.Baba Saheb Ambedkar Award by International Human Rights Council for his contribution to community building and human rights . Arunabha has also received numerous awards in the field of oratory and global dynamics notable being ISTE oratory champion , NSUI oratory champion, Citation Awards, Youth change Maker to name a few.His debut release book "Power Is You:Step Towards Excellence" a book on leadership and self-help has received immense accolades globally making him the youngest recipient of National Indie Excellence Award (USA)thus tagging him as an International Award Winning Author at 27.

Dr Sagar Bhargava

Ophthalmologist and Senior Eye Consultant

Dr. Sagar Bhargava MS , FRCS (Glasg) is Senior Consultant of BB Eye foundation Kolkata for last two and half years. He has been awarded FICO and FRCS from the UK . Dr.Bhargava has had his training from Sankara Nethralaya Chennai and has been associated with that hospital for more than 11 years and rose to the rank of Deputy Director of Sankar Nethralaya Kolkata Branch. In this very branch, he was credited to introduce many firsts like femtosecond Lasik, congenital glaucoma surgery use of ICLs, Multifocal toric IOLs and management of extremely subluxated cataracts with Cionni's rings. Later, he joined BB Eye Foundation, a group practice model and is providing expertise in cataract, glaucoma, and refractive surgery He became the Director of this group called SLR Eye and Retina Surgeons comprising of senior and experienced Ophthalmologists with the idea of getting into collaboration with hospitals and helping them with their expertise.

Auto-mobile Engineer and Entrepreneur

An automobile engineer from the Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering, he proceeded on his voyage with commitments in both the technical and cultural aspects of his fraternity. This one man, juggling through academics and representing DSCE twice at the national level, has been successful in bringing forth a revolutionary solution to matters pertaining to cleanliness and advertisement . This young man has popularised the globally recognised podium of advertising on top of bins by spending meagre amounts from one’s pocket thus assisting the inception of a cleaner domain.

Nivedita Bhattacharjee

Dramatist and Teacher

An internationally acclaimed dramatist, who has been working tirelessly in the field of Theatre & Drama for the past four decades. A teacher who has been passing down this immensely profound form of art that can help change and shape people's lives and perspectives for the past 10 years. An alumna of Jadavpur University, Department of International Relations she has also mastered the disciplines of Speech & Drama and Oral Communication from the University of West London.
