Anjana Gupta
Anjana Gupta started her journey of self realization and discovery 16 years ago, when she took her first Kathak dance lessons, and she never looked back. Her passion in dance led her to complete a degree in choreography, and she is now on the path of pursuing a masters degree in Kathak.
To Mrs. Gupta, Kathak is more than a mere art form; it is a world of it's own. A world that embodies empowerment, strength, and confidence.
She is a Vidwat in Kathak, certified by the Karnataka State Education Board and an A-grade auditioned artist for Doordarshan. She has also performed for the ICCR and Department of Kannada and Culture, and has performed in various festivals under the tutelage of Guru ,Chitra Venugopa, as well as choreographed various dance dramas under the guidance of Dr. Maya Rao.
She started her own Kathak Academy in Bangalore 4 years ago, SpACE, to be able to teach those around her the same values that keeps her motivated.
Girish Gogia
Girish Gogia, was only 29 years old, when a tragic diving accident resulted in a cervical spinal cord injury that left him entirely paralyzed from the neck down, but that never stopped him from achieving his dreams.
A winner against all odds , Mr. Gogia has let nothing get in his way. A civil engineer by profession, Girish spent a portion of his life becoming a successful interior designer, working for 15 hours a day despite the hurdles." I ignored what the world had to say about me and started focusing on what I wanted to say about myself."
He later decided to become a motivational speaker and start a global mission; The "Positive Earth"- A mission to inspire and motivate people around the world and let them know that if he can do it, so can anyone else. He believes in changing the world, one day at a time, and believes that every little difference counts. He has shared his ideas, motivation, experience, and thoughts to over thousands of people across the world. "
