Courage shows up in many ways - from finding your voice to working to save the world. Our speakers will introduce us to different faces of courage.
The theme for this inaugural event came from the fact that our school is named after a Canadian Peacekeeper who grew up in the Comox Valley. He died while disarming a landmine. He often said, “Every mine I lift means someone doesn’t die”. He wrote about and photographed the places and people he met. He is perhap most known for the dolls his mother made and which he distributed to the children he met. More at http://tedxisfeld.com
