TEDxNUM, a local TEDx event based on National University of Mongolia, has successfully gathered speakers, attendees, volunteer organizers and partners under the theme "Noosphere" for the first time on October 29, 2016. Ideas spread during the event covered various topics including mathematics, youth participation in social aspects, Ger, a very important detail in nomadic culture and extreme sports.

Tana Jambaldorj

MongolianYSP Founder, Global Shaper, MBA candidate
Tana Jambaldorj is the founder of the Mongolian Young Scholars Program, a non-profit program aiming to identify and prepare outstanding high school students for admission to top universities abroad. Tana has expansive experience working in the mining industry. She is an MBA candidate at the University of Oxford's Said Business School and a recipient of the Global Shapers Community Scholarship. Tana holds an A.B. in Economics and East Asian Studies from Harvard University.

Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics, National University of Mongolia
Uuganbaatar Ninjbat is an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics, National University of Mongolia. Uuganbaatar holds Ph.D in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics and his research topics include Economic Theory, Mathematics and so on. He is both an influence and an inspiring lecturer to the students.
