The formation of an idea is never purely conceptual; the senses play an underlying integral role in igniting the spark. The theme of this year’s TEDx event: Ideasthesia marks the phenomenon by which alterations and modifications in the thought process are brought about by external stimuli. It is a merger of various elements, which makes it a unique experience for each and every individual. TED as a society is dedicated to novel ideas that are worth spreading. We, at TEDxIITRoorkee2016 - Ideasthesia attempt to kindle the consciousness, and celebrate experiences which inspire and invigorate the individual to think out of the box, reconnect, reconstruct and remodel ideas.
