In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ahmed M.Zohairy

Dr. Ahmed Mansour Alzohairy -An Egyptian scientist who obtained his Ph.D. degree in (Plant Signal transduction) from faculty of agriculture, Zagazig University, Egypt in collaboration with McGill University, Canada. His dissertation research was published as a book entitled “Heat stress signaling transduction in plants” with international book publishing house. He also has published many other books and research articles in the field of plant biotechnology, genomics and Bioinformatics. He have been invited and participated in many international scientific meetings and conferences in molecular genetics and bioinformatics around the world. He was selected as international reviewer and guest editor by many international journals in the field of bioinformatics. d. He is currently an assistant Professor of Genetics and the director of the Egyptian center of Bioinformatics And Genomics (ECBAG), Zagazig University
