Aaliyah Haider

Student

Aaliyah Haider was born on 31st August 2003 in Malaysia. She is currently in Year Eight in Lazuardi Global Islamic School, Cinere. She is a member of Lazuardi TED-Ed club, English Club, and Archery club. Her passions are books, poetry, cooking and making a positive change. She strongly believes that bullying should be eradicated and is working towards creating a bullying free environment in schools. She has done several anti bullying campaigns in elementary, Junior and high schools.

Anies Baswedan

Education and Cultural minister for primary & secondary education

Anies Rasyid Baswedan is an Indonesian academician. He is currently the Minister of Culture and Primary & Secondary Education. He was Rector of Paramadina University in Jakarta, Indonesia when appointed by Joko Widodo for the position. He is the initiator and chairman of Indonesia Mengajar (Teaching Indonesia).

Esam Aljufri was born on the 17 of April, 2002 in The Hague, Netherlands. He is currently in Year Eight in Lazuardi Global Islamic School, Jakarta. He has been a member of Lazuardi TED-Ed club and Student Council. His hobbies are sports and video games.

Haidar Bagir

President/ Director of Mizan group

Haidar Bagir is a philanthropist, author, lecturer, and the president director of the Mizan Group. Haidar Bagir is currently the regional coordinator of International Society for Islamic Philosophy for Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. He is also a member of the Global Compassionate Council as well being one of the advisers to the London-based Islamic Human Rights Commission. Bagir’s name has also been included in the list of the 500 Most Influential Muslims in the World consecutively for last 7 years.

Irfan Amalee

CEO Mizan Applications

Irfan Amalee is a social entrepreneur. He has combined his experience of media industry and his passion in peace education to create called Peace Generation. Through this non-profit organization,he trains peace agents from primary and Junior High schools throughout Indonesia. His program has become incredibly viral and has grown into a community of over 10,000 young people. He is passionate in creating creative media for children. He has written more than 20 books, directed 8 movies and TV programs, written and directed 20 songs, 12 interactive games. He is currently working as CEO of Mizan Applications.

Kaylin Maritza Wibowo

Kaylin Maritza Putri Wibowo was born in Jakarta, 9th of March 2001. She is currently in Year Nine in Lazuardi Global Islamic School, Jakarta. Her hobbies and passions are Reading, Speaking, and Traveling with her family. She hopes that her ideas and passion to bring about a positive change in her community will be a reality one day.

Maulida Yustika was is a junior high student who is still trying to find her role in society and wishes to find the right dream to be pursued. Currently, she is trying to become a person who doesn't quit. She's passionate about reading, drawing, writing stories, poems, meeting new people from around the world, helping other people, and public speaking.

Sayed Hyder Ali

Sayed Hyder Ali is an educator, trainer and speaker. Using his background in Artificial Intelligence and Software Security, he diverted his efforts towards proliferation of technology in Education via Smart Schools. He has worked in several countries in Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East and is currently in Indonesia. He is passionate about creativity and the 21st Century skillset and its application in Project/Problem Based Learning. He has contributed as a consultant to the Ministry of Education in Indonesia in the implementation of their latest curriculum reforms.

Shaffira Annisa Herawati

Shaffira Annisa Herawati was born on the 31st of May, 2001, in Jakarta. She is currently in Year Nine in Lazuardi Global Islamic School, Jakarta. She When she is not studying or occupied by any task, she spends her time reading fiction or fantasy novels, practicing tennis with her younger brother, and singing. Shaffira Annisa is passionate about helping other people and music. She wants to become a pediatric oncologist and a philanthropist. She has participated and won many competitions.

Sukainah was born in Solo, 29th of May, 2001. She is in year 9 in Lazuardi Junior High. She considers herself a dreamer, humanist, and a talker. She enjoys reading and acting and poetry. She has been on Lazuardi TED-Ed club for 2 years now.

Vivi Al Attas

Chief Analyst, World Bank

Vivi Alattas is the Lead Economist and Poverty Team Leader at World Bank Office Jakarta where she has been working for the last 12 years after finishing her Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University. She is leading the Poverty Team in providing technical assistance and analytical work on overall poverty issues in Indonesia. She is the task team leader for several major WB reports such as "Making Indonesia Work for the Poor" and the “Indonesia Jobs Report”. She is currently leading the Technical Assistance in improving the Indonesian National Targeting System and Social Assistance Programs. She has written several papers on targeting, minimum wages, labor, dynamics of income distribution, corruption, gender, social capital, poverty measurements, and poverty program evaluation

Yohanes Surya

Physicist

Yohanes Surya is an Indonesian physicist and coach of Indonesian Physics Team for the Olympiad (TOFI) since 1993.Under his guidance, the Indonesian team has won 54 gold medals, 33 silver medals, and 42 bronze medals at various international science and physics competitions. He is well known for his 'fun and applicable physics' training program. He is author of 68 books and the comic Archi & Meidy.

She has been a member of Lazuardi TED-Ed club and active member of student council. She has participated and won several competitions.
