Born in Xanthi in 1969. He studied Graphic Design and Advertising and from 1989 till 1999 he was active in the private sector. From 1999 to 2003 he studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts of Perugia, Italy, with teachers Gianni Sani and Lucila Ragni. In July 2003 presented his dissertation entitled "Contemporary Printmaking in North. Greece - A brief review of the history of Greek Printmaking - Printmaking Naples Center - 9 Modern Engravers in Thessaloniki" and graduated with honors, and the Association of the Teachers awards scholarship. During August 2002 he organized engraving workshop in the Foundation of Thracian Art and Tradition in Xanthi. Ηε continues afterwards his studies at DEPARTMENT OF VISUAL AND APPLIED ARTS SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS of the ARISTOTLE UNIVERSITY THESSALONIKI with Professor Xenis Sahinis, for the second degree in Engraving and Printmaking. Dr. Alexandros Tzallas was born in Athens, Greece, in 1977. He received B.S. degree in physics from the University of Ioannina, Ioannina, Greece (in 2001) and Ph.D. degree in medical physics from the University of Ioannina, Ioannina, Greece (in 2009). Professor of Nuclear Medicine

Andreas D. Fotopoulos was born in Patra and is a Professor of Nuclear Medicine in the Department of the Medicine of the University of Ioannina. He currently serves as Vice Rector of the University of Ioannina (Academic Affairs & Human Resources), President of Greek Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging and Chairman of Nuclear Medicine Department of the University Hospital of Ioannina (Greece). His research is internationally recognized with 139 publications in international journals and 17 awards. Over the last 12 years, his research focuses on the use of classical Nuclear Medicine techniques in Neuro-Oncology, which creates a new field of applications. The European Commission, within the frames of Horizon 2020-SME- Instrument- Phase 2, has positively evaluated the project "GLIOMARK" and approved funding of €4.7 million for the next 4 years, which is the only project approved in the field of Nuclear Medicine in Europe.

Andreas Tzakos

Dr. Andreas Tzakos (born 1977), studied Chemistry at the University of Ioannina (finished with honors - award for excellence by the Greek Scholarship Foundation (GSF)). During his MSc (finished with honours -award by the GSF) and PhD studies (award by “Leonidas Zerbas” Foundation) at the University of Ioannina he performed several long term scientific visits receiving FEBS, EMBO, NATO and Marie Curie fellowships in labs in Netherland, Italy and France working on chemical biology to tackle complex biological questions. In 2004 he performed four years postdoctoral research awarded with a long term EMBO fellowship in structural and molecular biology at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UK and CNRS, Marseille France. In 2009 he became a Lecturer of Organic Chemistry at the University of Ioannina and from 2013 he promoted to Assistant Professor at the same Department.

Markos G. Tsipouras was born in Athens, Greece, in 1977. He received the diploma degree, the M.Sc. and Ph.D degree in computer science from the University of Ioannina, Greece, in 1999, 2002 and 2008 respectively. Also, he received a Natural Sciences diploma from the Hellenic Open University in 2013. He has been employed as visiting faculty in the rank of lecturer/assistant professor at various Universities and Technological Institutes in Greece. She received a degree from the Gymnastics Academy (ISEF: Instituto Superiore di Educazione Fisica) in Perugia, Italy in 1993 and from the University of Dietetics in Perugia (Dietologia e Dietetica Applicata, Universita degli studi di Perugia) in 1997. For one year (1997-1998) she participated in a clinical research training program on the infant/children's nutrition, as an assistant researcher at the CNRC (children's nutrition research Center) Baylor College of Medicine, Houston Texas, USA.

Nikiforos Papachristos was born in Gelsekirchen, Germany in 1974 and as an adult he realized that if he is somehow good at something, it is at organizings things and helping others to learn. Holding bachelors in Physics and in Education and a Master's degree in ICT and Mathematics in Education, he got his PhD from the Department of Primary Education at the University of Ioannina in Virtual Reality in Education, in 2012. Since 2005 he is a research associate with the Educational Approaches to Virtual Reality Lab at the University of Ioannina, a lab that focuses on the question "How do people learn with technology?" He has participated as a project manager, educator, instructional designer and software developer in many national and international R&D and educational projects.

Panagiotis Zoupas was born in Ioannina and he is 35 years old. He is congenitally deaf and that was the spark for participating in TDX, willing to inform the audience in Sign Language. He is a teacher of Greek Sign Language in the association of deaf , hard of hearing in Epirus and Ionian Islands since 2000 and is president in the same association since 2005. He has worked as news anchor in sign language news at TV1. Certificated in Greek sing language teaching and Cyprus sign language teaching as well. Has attended a high variety of seminars concerning education and disability. Furthermore, Panagiotis is a member of CID International Dance Council and has been completed 150 hours of courses in Latin dances.

Stavros Kostoulas is your average next door person, with everyday toils having a family and other commitments. One could call him a run of the mill man. What sets him apart is that since childhood he put faith in his dream. His dream was to be able to fly like the heroes in childrens books, and what more, he actually made it. He graduated from flying instructors schools and made his dream come true. Today Stavros is a certified cliff parachute instructor and is professionally involved in the aero sport field, being one of the founding members and serving as president in variou aerosport clubs. On top of that he has organized and coordinated myriad sport events. He occasionally gives lectures to school students in his campaign to promote the sport.
