Theme: Made in the Future

One of more than 100 TEDxYouth events around the globe tuning in to watch TEDYouth 2015 live online. At this event we will connect to watch TEDYouth via webcast and free of charge in Spanish.

"Young people will gather to explore the event's theme, "Made in the Future". This theme will provide youth with new perspectives on their own future job possibilities beyond traditional careers, some of which may not yet exist. TEDYouth 2015 is an opportunity for youth to think about the world in 2035, and to engage with experts who consider the corners of our intangible imagination to be the foundation for our potential future reality. Speakers will touch on an array of questions about our future, including: What will matter in the future? [and] Which types of careers will emerge or cease to exist?"

“Quinta hija en una familia de 10, nacida un viernes 5 de mayo de 1967. Terminé el colegio a los 16 años y no pude iniciar universidad por motivos económicos pero a cambio tuve la gran oportunidad de ingresar al “SENA” a realizar una carrera técnica y allí encontré el camino que me ha llevado a través de diferentes cargos; he sido mecanotaquígrafa, secretaria, docente por 7 años, Coordinadora académica por 16 y actualmente Dinamizadora del TecnoParque Nodo Manizales. A la vez que trabajaba también hacía mi carrera profesional; mi pregrado fue en ingeniería de sistemas y mi especialización en gestión de proyectos. Hace dos años inicié mi proceso de formación como Coach; positiva, alegre, soñadora y firme creyente de la sabiduría ecléctica y el CARPE DIEM: VIVE EL MOMENTO PRESENTE”
