Theme: In the air

The idea of an exclusive event on a plane came to mind of the organizers of TEDxLjubljana two years ago, after a successful TEDX event on a Slovenia’s highest mountain – TEDxTriglav.
Half joking, the organizers asked themselves. "Could we go even higher?" The answer was clear – on a plane! The supporter of this idea was the national airline Adria Airways – so the team had their biggest plane, Airbus A 319 with 144 seats, available. TEDxLjubljanaSalon was a small event, where besides the technical team and volunteer organizers, only the fastest TEDx fans got their ticket. Exclusive tickets were gone in one second.

A journalist, project manager and editor-in-chief of independent health magazine Medicina danes and Medicina & Ljudje, previously working as a journalist and editor at business newspaper Finance and journalist at Slovenian National Television (RTVS). She shows her energy and determination also in sports as being one of the best world road cyclists among journalists, winning Press World Championship in 2011, switching from mountain biking and ski runing in the years before.

Maja Štamol Droljc

Fashion designer

Internationally established fashion designer, costume designer and stylist, with over 10 years of experience at events, exhibitions and fashion shows of the highest level, being rewarded several times. She is dedicated to work at her fashion studio and to their family at home, where her husband and their two treasures from Guinea Bissau make her everyday joy.

Head of the business unit for automotive at Comtrade, with over 15 years of experience with developing software solutions. He believes that digitising is crucial also for future mobility models.
