TEDxYouth@DinosaurPark was the first TEDxYouth event in Rapid City, South Dakota. At TEDxYouth@DinosaurPark, TEDTalks video and live speakers (youth AND adult) combined to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

Amanda Hadden

Amanda, her husband, and three children live on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota. She is the founder of the Adorned Campaign, a nonprofit organization that brings awareness to mental health and suicide prevention while providing a message of worth and value to teens around the country.

Andres Gallardo

Andres Gallardo is a New York based artist who combines activism with art. Known as the “The GEM Guy,” Andres has given away over 1000 works of art around the world, while encouraging others in his path to share their own gifts.

Elyssa (Sierra) Concha

Elyssa (Sierra) Concha is Lakota, Ojibwa and Taos Pueblo. She is currently in her fourth year at Black Hills State University, majoring in education.

Khian Norby

Conversation Activist
Khian has been playing guitar since he was nine years old.

Marcus Ruff

Marcus Ruff is a 17 year old high school student, and member of the Oglala Lakota Nation who lives in the Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota. Marcus is an artist, activist, actor, poet and community volunteer.

Regan Garcia

Regan is a 11th grade high school student in Rapid City, South Dakota. Regan enjoys writing, drawing, playing video games and reading comics.

Tara Rose Weston

Tara Rose Weston is a self-taught portrait and lifestyle photographer, and award-winning filmmaker. She is a team member at Native Max Magazine, a freelance writer and a photographer for Powwows.com. Tara is a member of the Oglala Lakota Nation and was raised on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota; she currently resides in Rapid City.
