Theme: Serendipity

TEDx University of Brighton is an independently organized TEDx event managed, organized, and curated by a team of students. In accordance with the TED philosophy, we believe in the power of knowledge and ideas to develop the potential of each human being, and have an effect on the dynamics of the world.

We consider that an unexpected or unplanned series of events, or even a single moment, can lead to amazing discoveries and life changing outcomes. From this principle we developed the theme of the TEDx University of Brighton event, Serendipity, a beautiful word understanding the realization that sometimes you can find something more suited to your needs than what you were actually looking for.
