Youth@Basel
x = independently organized TED event

This event occurred on

Basel
Switzerland

The first TEDxYouth added a live event in Basel, Switzerland to make this global event reach youth in 60 cities in 40+ countries worldwide. By attending TEDxYouth@Basel, students of Minerva PG-2, Faculty and their parents experienced first hand what is currently possible to engage live and virtual participants and experience how effective and fun hybrid events are. We had a live "IDea Kitchen" literally in the middle of the Kitchen of Cafe Tacuba and many interative elements to keep us all engaged. With a real life Spaghetti and Marshmellow challenge to a livecast of sessions at other TEDxYouth events taking place around the globe, as a well as a live session around the state of the internet and internet consumption in Switzerland. A great idea sparking session for young (and less young) on UN World Children's Day, based on an inspired format from TEDxYouth.
