In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Aggeliki Stamatakopoulou

Teacher and Storyteller
Aggeliki Stamatakopoulou works as a teacher in a primary school. She is author and storyteller and she graduated from the Center for the Study and Dissemination of Myths and Folktales. She recounts tales for children and adults at storytelling festivals, music halls, hospitals and various events. She manages her own blog: "livecraftilyeverafter" and she is mother of two girls.

Aspa Tsamadi

Aspa Tsamadi is the founder of "Aspa Online" (aspaonline.gr) and the co-founder of "Mikroi Megaloi", "Mamades Mpampades" and "Digital Neighborhoods". She has been invited as a speaker at conferences and events at the University of Athens, the Ministry of Education, the Institute of Communication, the Hellenic Management Association, the Ministry of Administrative Reform and TEDx events. Her posts have been published in various publications, magazines, blogs and websites. She graduated from the Department of Physical Education and Sport Science of the University of Athens. She is a former judo champion and a member of the national team of Greece. She is a mom of two fantastic girls.

Catherine Graham

Catherine is 9 years old. Her grandparents are from Greece and she loves stories of the Greek Mythology.

Markos Zagkas

Markos Zagkas is responsible for Educational Programs and Schools for "Planet Agents". He has a degree in Economics and a Masters degree in Environment from the University of Melbourne. He has postgraduate studies in "Forest Schools" in Denmark and Education for Sustainable Development from the University of the Aegean. He worked as volunteer in environmental education at WWF Greece, WWF Madagascar and ARCHELON. Markos worked in ARCTUROS for Athens environmental education and in Organization Earth as the responsible person for educational programs.

Nick Fragkias

Nikos Fragkias is the founder of the methodology Dynamic Equilibrium System and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and he is a psychotherapist and trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and he has a specialization in emotional skills and abilities. He has worked as Director of Training & Development is a NLP Trainer, Systemic Psychology Counselor with further training in clinical hypnosis and psychotherapy as well as Provocative & Clean Language, he is a guest speaker at several educational institutions in the UK and speaker programs specialized for children at professional colleges England. He has over 15 years’ experience in large companies, as an HR Director & Operation Manager. As a consultant he has worked in HR & Training Consultant companies.

Panagiotis Kasteroudis

Panagiotis Kasteroudis is 14 years old. He enjoys reading…he loves it. He goes to High School and he likes fencing as d' Artagnan. Panagiotis loves walking near the area of Monastiraki to discover comics or stamps for his collection. Moreover, he rides a bike and enjoys spending time with his friends.

Spyros Plessas

Spyros Plessas is 10 years old and he is a small artist in an adult world. His imagination is a source of many beautiful creations, performances, comic books and fairy tales. The story of "Pippis and Small Town" won a prize at the 14th National Competition of Fairytale and became a theatrical show directed by Karmen Rouggeri.

Stavros Martinos

Stavros Martinos is regional director in Greece and Cyprus of the School of Architecture for Children and Young People: "Arkki", it has been in operation since 1993. He studied architecture at the National Technical University of Athens and continued his research activity in the USA. He is an architect and architectural historian. Stavros participates in conferences and workshops in Greece and abroad. In 2014 he was selected as one of the 100 independent evaluators for the EU Prize Architecture.

Susana Noemi Abigador

Susana Noemi Abigador is representative of the "Expression Corporal", Body Expression in Greece, creator of the system "Danza Vital", Dance Self-Knowledge, Experiential Methodology consultant and author of the book "When the body speaks". She worked for 20 years for ANIMA, the area of artistic education teachers. She has collaborated with the Art Theatre Karolos Koun choreography of tragedy "Iphigenia in Aulis" in 1990 and 1999 in Epidaurus, with free Theatres Cyprus of tragedy "Bacchae" at Herodium, with the City Campus, etc.

Vaggelis Papadimitriou

Vaggelis Papadimitriou is 11 years old. For many years Vangelis had Thalassophobia. After three summers on island of Kastelorizo he had an unexpected "acquaintance". He met a sea turtle that helped him to overcome his fears. This story became a book titled "Vice versa" and Vaggelis a little hero with great courage.

Xenia Kourtoglou

Xenia Kourtoglou began her career in the field of Market Research in 1985, being a student and mother of a 2 years old daughter. In 1988, she established her own company Focus Bari, a leading research company with major success in the Greek market and international recognition. She is active in volunteer work for 27 years for public affairs of the wider area of Communication, Media and the Business Community. Xenia offers substantial work for the development and empowerment of young people and women through the continuous research, the systematic teaching at Panteion University and other universities, especially through her personal experience.
