In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Amy Hayes

Amy Hayes says that you can help people when you care about them. And you will go farther letting others support you. That’s the power of the dream buddy. She challenges us to get out there and find yours if you haven’t already, to chase your dreams, to listen and learn, and to ultimately give back.

Eiger Peterson

Eiger Peterson believes small ideas and dreams are gathered over time, put together, taken apart and then with the right inspiration they can be combined into something cool.

Florence Gold

In today’s society of global economic competition, environmental concerns, and the race to explore outer space, the study of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) curricula have reached the forefront of educational goals around the world. The High School Students United with NASA to Create Hardware or HUNCH program is designed to bring together industry, government, and academia in order to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers with the skills and learning opportunities that they will need to become world leaders in the 21st Century.

Maddy Gawler

So how do you turn “Impossible” into “I’m possible?” Create your list, make a plan, and commit. That’s it. Three steps. Livin the Dream is all about perspective. Alice from Alice in Wonderland said, “I’ve believed as many as 6 impossible things before breakfast”. The question now is will you be the person that believes 6 impossible things then makes a bowl of lucky charms, sits back, and hopes for the best? Or will you believe 6 impossible things and get to work, making those 6 impossible things a reality by dinner?

Paul Hutton

As an Architect, that most popular request Paul has from almost every client is... lots of windows. Watch Paul's talk and find out what happens when we have daylighted buildings and homes.

Ryan Remien

Ryan Remien is convinced that students biggest dreams are more than just an ideal, but an invitation to explore with them. In his elementary STEM classroom, he chooses to be ‘all in’ for their dreams.

Samantha Sparks

Samantha believes that dreaming should never be shelved or put in a box. Your dreams can be unleashed and you can exude confidence and power to build bridges over all of the pressures of modern society.
