In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Cattski, Jad, and Jude

Cattski, Jad, and Jude are one of the pillars of homegrown Cebuano music. Jude Gitamondoc is the man behind VISPOP and a songwriter that promised himself he will write songs for all his life; Cattski is a self-described “do-it-yourself” musician, and a passionate entrepreneur and record producer into one; and Jad is a music engineer and is the hands behind popular Cebuano songs. Budoy Marabiles

Errol “Budoy” Marabiles lives and breathes art. With a mysterious towering turban for a hair, he’s impossible to miss. Budoy is a musician who wants to differentiate his music among other usual bands. He has songs that actually belong to mixed genres. As the lead vocalist of the popular Cebu Reggae band, Junior Kilat, he is behind the super hit songs such as Ako si M-16, Buwad Suka Sili, 1-2-3, and Original Sigbin. Cattski Espina

An independent singer-songwriter, a self-described “do-it-yourself” musician, and a passionate entrepreneur and record producer rolled into one artistic soul make Cattski Espina. Intro music: G.O.O.D. by Honeydrop

Jude Gitamondoc

A few of Mr. Gitamondoc’s award-winning songs include, “However Much Love” sang by Filipino singer Nina in he Stay Alive album and “In Another Lifetime” sang by Gary Valenciano in his “Relevance” album. He has also written songs for artists like Toni Gonzaga, Piolo Pascual and KC Concepcion. Aside from writing songs, Mr. Gitamondoc also writes short stories for kids like “The Squirrel Who Fell in Love with a Feather.” He is also the musical director of several plays. Two of his renowned works are “Siddhartha The Musical” and “You’ve Been Facebooked! The Musical.” Intro music: G.O.O.D. by Honeydrop

Kaloy Uypuanco

The former manager of the OPM band, Urbandub, Kaloy also teaches part-time at the University of San Jose-Recoletos here in Cebu City. He lives and breathes the soothing tunes and melodies that music upholds. Intro Music: G.O.O.D. by Honeydrop
