On September 20, 2010, more than 150 of the world’s leading thinkers and doers came together in New York for TEDxChange. Convened by Melinda French Gates on the 10th anniversary of the Millennium Development Goals, this event explored what the future holds for health and development around the world. What changes have taken place in the last decade? And what more needs be done to ensure the health and well-being of future generations?

Over 80 TEDx communities around the world, including TEDxLausanne, hosted local events around the live webcast from New York.

Jean-Pierre Lehmann

Professor Jean-Pierre Lehmann is Professor of International Political Economy at IMD. His areas of interest include globalization and the role of business in reduction of poverty and inequality. Professor Lehmann launched in 1995 the Evian Group, an international coalition of corporate, government, and opinion leaders, united by a common vision of enhancing global prosperity for the benefit of all.
