This time we named our theme as 'Overstep the boundary'.
Let's begin from the review of the discovery of the space.

Back in the Western Zhou Dynasty, our ancestors believed that the dome-like heaven embraces the vast Earth.

Around the sixth century B.C., Pythagoras began to claim that the world is spherical from the aspect of aesthetics. Later in the 2nd century B.C., Ptolemy came up with the geocentric theory. Then came Copernicus' heliocentric theory in the 16th century. Newton discovered the law of universal gravity in the 17th century. The concept of the galactic system wasn't established until the 18th century. And finally in the 20th century Hubble proved the existence of extragalactic system.

The development of the astronomy is piece history in which the celestial and geographic limits were broken and the boundaries of people's cognition were challenged. Fortunately, humans were never stopped by the dome above. They never set limits to their own.

Back to the "now", it is easy to find that everyone of us, more or less, is covered by our own domes, which are filled with lustration and azure and are wonderful and flawless.

Under the dome, we are content with ourselves.

However, we are living a periodic life, we are doing cut-and-dried work, accompanied by moments, circular conversations and a scanty few calling logs. We acquaint the same peer circle; we hear the stories that everybody can And we ask the same questions as everyone does.

Now we have a question for you. Have you ever imagined what the world is like above the dome - the boundary? Maybe no one can give a absolute answer. But we are sure that above the dome, there are eyes of aspiration, thoughts of urgency and power of exceeding.

Above the dome, the world is in the absence of limits.

However vast is the universe, it cannot reveal its immensity without celestial bodies; however splendid is the world, it cannot be filled with enthusiasm without your voluntary participation. Innovations, overturns, distinctive qualities and newly recovered courage... Above the dome, numerous excitements are awaiting you.
2014 winter sharing meeting by TEDxGDUF, is going to help you break your own domes in Guangzhou's so-called winter, letting you walk on another planet.

Use innovation, touching, overturn and reversal to explore this boundless universe.
