Theme: Nature's First Green: Nurturing Passions

This event occurred on
April 19, 2014
8:00am - 11:00am HST
(UTC -10hrs)
Honolulu, Hawaii
United States

Our event is all about giving select students of Hawai'i the opportunity to share their passions in the hopes of encouraging others to pursue what they love. Our event’s theme, Nature’s First Green is Gold: Nurturing Passions, alludes to Robert Frost’s poem and the idea that there is something unique about our beginnings –our youth. Our first passion is not always the one we pursue throughout our lives, but it is the starting point from which we learn how to be passionate. All of our speakers are high school students, representing diverse interests and diverse backgrounds.
