Many of us consider biodiversity as a ‘remote’ and ‘fancy’ interest that has very little connection to our day to day lives. Conservation-biologist Shahriar Caesar Rahman proves us wrong by taking us through stories and evidences of our close connections to the nature.

Shahriar Caesar Rahman is a conservation biologist based in Dhaka. Caesar has extensive experience in reptiles and amphibians of Bangladesh. Current projects include ecology, conservation, and assessments of python, tortoises and of Bangladeshi snake fauna. Caesar’s work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals. He serves as a member of IUCN/SSC Boa & Python Specialist Group and IUCN/SSC Viper Specialist Group. He is the founder of the Bangladesh Python Project and co-founder of the Creative Conservation Alliance (CCA).
