Before joining Sanofi as CEO in 2019, Hudson was CEO of Novartis Pharmaceuticals. His healthcare career has spanned the globe, with roles in the US, Japan and Europe. He has also worked for AstraZeneca, where he held several senior positions, including as president of AstraZeneca US and executive vice president in North America. He began his career in sales and marketing roles at GlaxoSmithKline UK and Sanofi-Synthélabo UK.
