Author, economist, investor
Mike O'Sullivan postulates that the 30-year era of globalization is now over and that we are entering a new, uncertain — but increasingly values-driven — world order.
Why you should listen
Mike O'Sullivan tracks the intersection of economics, politics, markets and history. He is the author of The Levelling, a treatise on where the world might be heading as globalization grinds to a halt, as well as two books on Ireland.
O'Sullivan began his professional career teaching at Princeton. He spent the past 20 years working in investment management, mostly at Credit Suisse. He was an independent member of Ireland's National Economic Social Council from 2011 to 2016 and contributes to many journals and media.
