Why you should listen

Miao Wang is a United Nations Young Champion of the Earth and a full-time marine conservationist with many other identities, including but not limited to diving instructor, polar guide, sommelier and paraglider pilot. In 2015, she began diving and has been addicted to it ever since. She has logged many hours wandering around underwater while attracted by the beauty of the planet and witnessing the vulnerability of its giant ecosystem. She founded Better Blue, an organization focused on the empowerment of diving communities, so more divers can become activists of marine protection. Her vision is to enable more people to learn how to scientifically interact with the ocean in order to help bring it back health. She holds a masters degree in international development.
