Ksenia Petrichenko, Ph.D., is a sustainable energy expert and policy analyst with the International Energy Agency (IEA), where she leads the work of the Energy Efficiency Division related to buildings. She conducts analytical work, carries out capacity-building training and provides policy advice to governments around the world to improve buildings in line with the global net-zero transition. Currently, Petrichenko works on analyzing synergies between energy efficiency, electrification, decarbonization and digitalization of buildings and their expanding role in modernized energy systems.
