Why you should listen

Jennifer Petriglieri is an associate professor at INSEAD and author of Couples That Work: How Dual-Career Couples Can Thrive in Love and Work. Her award-winning research and teaching focuses on how people's close relationships shape who they become -- at work and beyond. She has studied how relationships affect career trajectories, and vice versa, especially in moments of uncertainty and crisis. Her work has been featured in the Harvard Business Review, the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times and the Atlantic. She has appeared on NPR, Good Morning America, the BBC and CNN to discuss how working couples can manage two careers and a love life.

A Brit and a member of a working couple herself, Petriglieri has lived and worked on three continents before settling in France with her Italian husband and their two children. She finds joy in their family life and in their joint work as well as in cooking, running and spending time in the mountains.
