Ellen Trachman founded Trachman Law Center, LLC. Originally from Los Alamos, New Mexico, she attended undergrad at the University of California, Berkeley and law school at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. Trachman is licensed to practice law in Colorado, New Mexico, California and Montana. 

In 2019, she co-founded Colorado Fertility Advocates, a non-profit organization supporting Colorado fertility professionals and advocates.

Trachman was honored to be named 2020 Ally of the Year by the Colorado LGBT Bar Association. In 2015, Ellen was awarded Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year by the Denver Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, in 2017 for Volunteer of the Year from the GLBT Community Center of Colorado and in 2018 was named by Denver Business Journal as one of Denver’s 40 Under 40. 

She writes a regular column on assisted reproductive technology legal issues for the legal-focused website abovethelaw.com and co-hosts the podcast "I Want To Put A Baby In You" with her sister, Jennifer White. 

Trachman lives in Denver, Colorado, with her spouse, four kids and adorable mini goldendoodle, Teddy.
