Ramon Thomas

Ramon Thomas has spent 20 years on the Internet. He has a knack for spotting global trends and translating them into insights for his audiences. After 2005 he pioneered research into mobile social networks and the online dating industry in South Africa. In 2009 he was voted one of Top 300 Young South Africans by Mail & Guardian. Ramon has published 5 ebooks including “Parents Guide to MXit.”

Nomsa Mazwai

Nomsa also known as Nomisupasta is an experienced social activist, formally trained economist (MA), developer, community engager and visionary. She is currently working towards building a Southern Africa that is competitive and responsive to the needs of the ordinary people on the ground and she does this through arts, education and economic development. Nomsa is also an extra ordinary musician. In 2011 Nomsa was nominated for best newcomer, best album packaging and won best adult african alternative

Sabelo Sibanda

Sabelo Sibanda is the co-founder of MIllbug (Pty) Ltd. His passion to making a positive dent in the rural internet proliferation universe throughout and beyond the BRICS countries has led him and his partner to design and manufacture a tablet PC that will be retailing for less than R1000.00.

Ongama mtimka

Mtimka is an emerging young leader in Nelson Mandela Bay. He featured in the city’s inaugural top 40 under 40 list compiled by the business chamber in 2011. He works as the external relations manager at Ubuntu Education Fund, an award winning NGO based in Zwide Township. He is motivated by a strong desire to bring about positive changes in his life and in the lives of others.

Tariro Anifasi

Tariro is the current Golden Key Vice President 2012/2013. Giving back to the community is one of her passions and she is part of the SAVE Campaign( Society Against Violence Everywhere) and the NMMU Autism awareness. She published her poem "At the end of the day" in the Department of Arts and Culture's first "Expressions within" poetry collection in 2012.
