Robin Teigland

Robin Teigland is an Associate Professor at the Center for Strategy and Competitiveness at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE), as well as the caretaker of SSE’s island in Second Life. Robin’s research interests revolve around the creation and diffusion of knowledge in social networks and the impact on a firm’s competitive advantage. The focus of her current research is on investigating how virtual worlds and social media are enabling firms to create value outside the boundaries of the firm. She has published numerous articles in international books and academic journals, and in 2008 she received the “Researcher of the Year” award at the Stockholm School of Economics. In addition, she is a reviewer for the US National Science Foundation as well as a globally sought after speaker. Robin really enjoys teaching students at the Stockholm School of Economics and lecturing for executives. In March 2010, she will start a pan-Nordic project financed by the Nordic Innovation Center investigating innovation and entrepreneurship in virtual worlds.

Joakim Jardenberg

Joakim has been working in the borderland of new and old media since he set up the first server on aftonbladet.se in 1994. He has been called a wizkid, a guru, a rebell (officially by Apple) and a pain in the ass (semi-officially and with lots of love by Google – view full profile on LinkedIn and look for Google in the recommendations). Always with one leg in userland, one in technology and one in the business model, he has been involved in painting the map of the digital landscape in Scandinavia for 15 years now. And he still loves it. Today a lot of his time is spent as a CEO whisperer, with an edge towards trends, knowledge and execution in the area of digital- and social media. He's also a small investor, acting CMO, senior advisor and board member in everything from startups to highly mature companies. He's actively involved in well over ten companies. His main venture is Mindpark, a development agency, of which he is the founder and CEO.

Tomas Bacoccoli

Tomas Bacoccoli is director of sales at MTG Radio Sweden as well as president for the Swedish RAB. In addition, Tomas was also active in the launches of Metro Newspaper in Italy and North America around the turn of the century. Radio as a commercial medium has taken its time to grow in Sweden as it was first launched in 1993. The real growth for the medium started in 2006, after the industry had managed to convince the advertising community about the power of sound, a process that Tomas and colleagues re-launched in 2005. Since then he has lectured for more than 15.000 people in the marketing community in the Nordic and Baltic countries about the power of sound and music.
