TEDxGrandValley is the first TEDx event to be held at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. Our theme was "Sustainability: a GRAND tradition." At our event we had a mix of faculty, staff, students, and community members who shared talks which reflected the many ways in which sustainability is embedded into the people, places, and culture of West Michigan. We hoped to spark ideas that will lead to actions towards a more sustainable world.
