TEDxFlourCity is a day-long conference that highlights the passion, ingenuity, talent, and perspectives of a remarkable group of Rochester-area residents. Local speakers and published TED talks combine to encourage profound and creative perspectives on a wide array of topics. The annual event provides a forum for people to share what inspires them while inspiring others to form connections, thereby enabling great ideas to come to fruition.
TEDxFlourCity 2012 featured fourteen Rochester speakers. It combined well-established voices like that of Bradford Berk, CEO of Strong Hospital, with up-and-comers like Emily Wozniak, Found of Sound ExChange. TEDxFlourCity 2013 will feature a group of fifteen exciting speakers, aimed at promoting the powerful research and positive start-ups in Rochester, among many other captivating topics.
