Anyone can tell a story, whether to amuse, shock or inspire. Story is a vital part of what makes us human and how we connect to one another. Through story we can experience things we would never experience in our day to day life. It stretches beyond culture and language; the age of silent movies proved that an audience can be moved without words. When a group of individuals are gathered and share the experience of a story, they become a tribe and in that moment become one.
TEDxEaling will strive to achieve that very level of connection for the audience and explore the power of stories. We’re bringing together a group of inspiring individuals from a wide array of disciplines who are all storytellers in their own right. They don’t just tell stories, they express, portray, and perform them.
