Theme: "Challenging Reality"

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDxIrbid is proud to present the first event of its kind in the north of Jordan. TEDxIrbid will be an event about ‘Challenging Reality’. A day of inspirational talks by people from Irbid coming from all different walks of life to share their stories and ideas on the TEDxIrbid stage.

To challenge reality does not mean doing things that are out of this world. To us here at TEDxIrbid to challenge means exactly what it says in the dictionary:
Chal•leng•ing adj.
1. Calling for full use of one's abilities or resources in a difficult but stimulating effort.
2. Absorbing; intriguing.

To challenge, to provoke thought, to intrigue. Challenging means ambition, stimulation and crossing difficulties. This is what our speakers’ experiences will be about. To introduce the people of Irbid to such speakers is to push them to use their own abilities to the fullest.

TEDxIrbid will be a unique opportunity for people in Irbid and the north of Jordan to present and represent. An opportunity to shed light on personalities, lives and stories that aren’t always being paid attention to.

An event for curious minds, may they all flourish and grow.
