In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxYouth@NickelCity where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxYouthNickelCity events, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small groups.
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events,
including ours, are self-organized.

The TEDxYouth@NickelCity is an incredible opportunity and innovative platform to be inspired by leading creative professionals, technology experts, entrepreneurship, business and cultural leaders. Everyone needs to know
that we have Icons & Innovators within our own community and beyond, who are changing the world in their own ways – in science, technology, entertainment, design and more. We believe TEDxYouth@NickelCity can be a spark to ignite change in our community and connect the entrepreneurial and creative energy we need to have a sustainable future.
