What is the role of a citizen in a modern republican democracy? From jury duty to parenting; from following the news to making it, the challenges of modern citizenship in America are growing tougher. Democracy, however, is fragile. So, for democracy to work, citizens must learn how to engage their government effectively regardless of how challenging that may be.
