Michael Smith

Michael is a part of a virtual team focused on the Emerging Markets growth for Yahoo!. He determines which product strategies will benefit Yahoo! in dynamic markets like Southeast Asia, India, Brazil, Russia and the Middle East. Michael also works with the Yahoo Developer Network in Asia Pacific. He is the evangelist for open platforms and Yahoo!’s APIs. At TEDxCQ Michael along with his brother Christopher would be giving us a brief idea on the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Singapore.

J C Sum

J C Sum is a Singaporean illusionist and illusion designer. Nicknamed "The Thinking Man's Magician", J C is one of the most highly regarded illusionists and illusion designers from Asia. AsiaOne named him as "one of the most celebrated illusionists in Asia. In July 2009, J C was awarded the coveted Merlin Award for "Most Original Illusionist 2009" by the International Magicians Society. At TEDxCQ, J C would be giving us a peek into the mind of a magician.

As a much sought-after judge, he has shared his views at Cannes Lions. His insightful thoughts and infectious enthusiasm have made him a popular speaker. On top of his position as JWT’s Regional Executive Creative Director, Guan Hin is currently the Global ECD of Lux, Unilever, a role that allows his boundless imagination to continue to push boundaries.
