Darren Stein
Darren was born in England and grew up in South Africa before he immigrated to Perth in 1987. In 1996 he moved to Sydney where he met his wife of 10 years. He is a father of three kids aged 6, 4 and 1.
He is one of Australia’s leading insights and analytics professionals. He has Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Psychology and Masters of Psychology degrees and a deep passion for understanding and influencing consumer behaviour through marketing strategy and implementation.
In March 2011 Darren moved to News Limited as the Director of Market Insights and Business Intelligence, a newly created position to develop the business' capability in these areas for the full suite of companies across the country.
Ken Roberts
Ken is an activity-a-holic. He has achieved excellence on the athletics track, as an academic and in building a world leading research consultancy.
His modus operandi is about empowering others to grow, creating an environment or the situation which enables others to flourish family, colleagues, and clients alike.
He narrowly missed selection for the Australian Olympic team in 1984 for the ultimate track event, the 100m Sprint. But the dedication to fine improvements in performance has translated to his business career where he is considered to be an inventor and innovator of methods which inform corporate market share growth. He is the Australian Certified Practising Marketer of the year 2010, holder of the Australian Market and Social Research Society’s award for Commercial Effectiveness 2010 and 2007 and was the runner up at Sloane Business School, MIT, Boston for the globally prestigious 2010 ISMS-MSI Practice Prize.
Ken is also the founder of Forethought Research, father of three beautiful daughters and manger of the Keilor St Bernards under 16 year olds athletics team who hold two titles.
Mike McClellan
A polished guitarist with fingers fast and accurate, Mike has been performing in the acoustic music scene since the late 60’s. With song’s topping the charts bringing him national recognition and a following that has remained loyal to his highly personal brand of music for almost 40 years.
He has contributed some of the most memorable advertising on television, writing the concepts, words and music for some of Australia’s tops brands. He is by far, one of the best songwriters to emerge from Australia in many years among its most talented singer/guitarists.
John Zeigler
John is a staunch advocate of marketing effectiveness. He launched the world's first integrated agency in 1986, making him the most experienced integrated marketer at a time when everyone was taking the single minded approach to communications.
Having lived and worked in three continents, John is a great believer in reinvention and what that implies for brands in this global, think local, market. He is adamant that the development of creative work and its evolution and management should be most highly valued; all of which clients need to be involved in.
A painter, photographer and restorer of cars in his spare time, John considers himself a creative marketer who believes in harnessing the potential of others.
